Morocco Dr Congo Target Second Successive Win

Morocco & DR Congo Target Second Successive Win

Morocco Eye Victory Over Comoros

Morocco will be looking to make it two wins from two in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Comoros in their second Group C match on Friday.

The Atlas Lions got their campaign off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory over Ghana on Monday, and they will be confident of another three points against a Comoros side that lost 2-1 to Gabon in their opening game.

Morocco are ranked 22nd in the world by FIFA, while Comoros are 132nd, so the North Africans will be expected to win comfortably.

DR Congo Aim to Bounce Back Against Libya

DR Congo will be aiming to bounce back from their opening defeat to Uganda when they face Libya in their second Group B match on Friday.

The Leopards lost 2-0 to the Cranes in their first game, and they will need to improve their performance if they want to qualify for the knockout stages.

Libya, meanwhile, drew their opening game 0-0 with Algeria, so they will be confident of getting a result against DR Congo.

Both Teams Have Previous History

Morocco and Comoros have met twice before, with both games ending in draws.

DR Congo and Libya have also met twice before, with DR Congo winning one game and Libya winning the other.
